Rim Refinishing
Long Island's Premier Wheel Refinishing Service
Rim Refinishing
A wheel’s finish may become damaged for many reasons. Age alone can cause a wheel’s finish to become discolored or for your clear coat or chrome to chip off. More often, a rim’s finish will become damaged from acid spray, oxidation or acid rain. The biggest culprit is your cars own brake dust eating into your wheel’s finish.
Due to our expertise, all scratches, damages and most cracks on a rim can be repaired by us. Our specialized process will smooth away any damage on your wheel. Our team takes in account the job at hand, and will accurately decide whether a paint or powder coat is the best option for your wheels.
We can also match any color paint to your liking, whether it's factory or aftermarket rim colors. Even though wheel manufacturers don't release specific color codes of their wheels, we will professionally mix paints to produce the desired colors for your rims.

Our Process
We strip the old finish off the rims, leaving us with just the bare alloy surface to work with. We then sand and smoothen out the rims so that a color match can be completed. We continue by layering with a base coat and then apply the desired color mix of paints over the base. Once the color is accurate, we apply a top clear coat to give your wheels the finish they deserve (glossy, satin or matte depending on your style).
The rim repair process typically takes about 2-3 days. Feel free to leave your vehicle with us at the shop by booking an appointment with us to guarantee a lift open for your car. We also accept loose rims or loose rims with tires on them. We can even help place a spare rim on your vehicle if you do not wish to leave your vehicle with us. We guarantee to accommodate you in any of these situations.
If you have any further questions, feel free to call us at (631) 201-2003, or stop by our shop with your wheels to discuss if our rim polishing process is right for your rims.
